adoro?

hi...i just picked up "adoro" yesterday from the transport meeting point.

I'm gonna write in english today because i can't write in german so well! maybe tomorrow i will attempt german with some help of a friend.

he's great! he's not so smelly and has finally had his first normal backside output instead of soft stuff  8o like yesterday thanks to a bit of imodium.

 i wanted to post some photos of him today but he never holds still. i now have about 80 photos of half him or only his tail or a blurry brown spot!

his feet are absolutely funny!!! they are very much like a basset hound and not at all like a shar pei. his fell is also funny. in some places it's soft and in some places like a drahtbuerste, but i think that will change with time and good food. he got rubbed all over with coconut oil yesterday and today and had a nice dose in his food as well. he loves it. he also loves his food...

yesterday when he came, i thought that he mght not be able to hear very well but i cleaned his ears yesterday and again today and slowly he seems to be able to hear more.

he has also not been able to resist marking in the house, but only 2 times near my Kira's bed (my forever shar pei). i'm sure that we will this im griff haben soon.

he loved to play and is very soft with his mouth. no teeth on skin at all!  he got cat stoftier yesterday and he carries it around with him so it's always near.
he is scared of movements that are too quick and reacts by dropping to the floor as flat as he can make himself. :ohnmacht:

he is absoluty not aggressive in any way.  :O

i will write more as i get to know him better, but i wanted to at least get his tagebuch started.

we will give him a new name in the next days as well. i'm waiting for him to tell me what it is. right now we call him "di oh dschi" (d o g) in english!  :D

he will be looking for his forever home as soon as his eyes are better as well so start asking around. he is going to make a fantastic family dog!!!

nice that you've opened a diary for Abaro.
It's great that his diarrhea is better and he eats good and drinks.
You'll be right with the photos, he is now happy that he can even move properly outside of the kennel.

How wonderful you decided to take in a foster dog and Abaro seems to be doing quite well.

Btw I love the GermEnglish or Denglish in your post  :D

I'm pretty sure Abaro will find out soon that standing still and getting ones picture taken can be quite an experience and maybe he'll get the one or other treat for standing still and posing.

diohdschi ist ein pflege kid!
ich hab selber ein shar pei ( Kira) aus ein deutsche Tierheim. sie ist ein SPiN (shar-pei-in-not punkt de) hund. Kira is bei mir seit 2007 und ist gern ein Einzelkind auf dauer. sie ist mit die ganze shar pei Krankheiten zu uns gekommen und braucht manchmal viel extras.
ich mag auch frei bleiben als pflege platz. ;)


i hab ein paar Photos von heute mit deohgee und seine Katze. beim fressen ist der ein bisschen still.

er hat noch mal ein ruhige Nacht. er schlaft der ganze Nacht durch und bleibt sauber.

ich hab die beiden Hunde noch getrennt mit ein Kindergitter aber wir gehen gassi mehrmals am Tag zusammen bis meine ist mehr vertrauenswürdig mit der neue.

ich glaub diohdschi sieht ned so super. Sein Augen sind cloudy/weiß-grau und er reibt gern die beiden an alles. er bekommt Augensalbe aber die sind trotzdem unangenehm. gestern hat er ein Halskranz bekommen das er einfach die Augen ruhe gab aber dass hat ihm angst gemacht! ;(
hoffentlich können wir bald operieren lassen.

ich wurde gern dass er auf der homepage from shar-pei-in-not kommt. wer ist zuständig für so was? soll ich schreiben? oder?

lange nicht geupdated...

es war sehr busy bei uns in letzte zeit und heute fahren wir auf urlaub.
wir haben unsere France urlaub gecancelled wegen der kleiner weil er kann nicht auto fahren  ;( so er bleibt hier im haus mit ein hundesitter (ein freund vom mir) and wir fahren nicht so weit weg und nicht so lang.
wir sind in 10 tage zuruck.

diohdschi gehts ihm gut. und mittlerweile meiner hat ihm auch akzeptiert und er darf überall im haus und garten mit ihr!

ich schreib mehr nach unsere urlaub...

ok...so wir sind zuruck von urlaub zeit zwei wochen und ur ur ur busy.
der kleiner is ein redbull hund...fast nie still und ich glaub er kann fliegen. er ist uberall and fresst alles!!!! including half of my sofa! =)
wir haben eine neues training plan machen mussen so er bescheftig ist sonts is er ur fad and will alles auffressen. seine katze ist zeit lengst tot und auch ein paar andere(stofftier) aber jetzt hat er ein monkey und die beiden passen gut mit einander!
er ist extreme klug und lernt schnell aber muss immer was zu tun haben. er hat leider noch angst von autos aber ist VIEL besser geworden ausser beim bus fahren. an dass arbeitn wir aber und er mag ga nicht rassen mehen aber er hilft immer bei staubsaugen! ich hab nie ein hund hier gehabt wer staubensaugen gern tut! ich finds echt lustig!

i cannot type anymore deutsch today. i'm ausgepowered und meiner rechschreib fehlern und funny deutsch sind einfach too much!

the op is gut gegagen! in the next days we should know how it is working and he has to wear the dreaded cone on his head for maybe 3 weeks!!!!
it seems that he has in one eye lost about 25% augenlicht aber sonst sollte alles gut sien. daumen drucken!

i will try to log on more often. i've been allergic to the computer for the last weeks since i'm on schulferien but i have to try to get back in touch with reality.
