so. we have a breeder friend....she says he looks like he is NOT a mix. and he is not a maltese. neither is his mom! she says they are Havanese.
i don't really care. they are both(mom and son) wonderful and a delight to have in our home.

his ears and around his eyes he is creamy/brown. like coffee cream. spots on his back too but they don't show in the photos.

I think your friend could be right, my Kischa a Havanese (not sure if she is a mix or not) was as a puppy also lighter creamy.

Then when she was about a year she was whiter and from that day she became browner and browner.

Ich war in America auf besuch aber bin jetzt wieder in Wien.
Hoke (und Miss Daisy May) ist alt genug vermittlet zu werden so heute we made some new photos for Regina.

die beiden sind mittlerweile sehr crazy. Miss Daisy May has become strong and fearless at home and rules the roost! Let it be known, Kira, the Shar Pei, is no longer in charge!!!

Klein aber fein? na ja....muss ned immer so lady like sein.  8)

Miss Daisy May steals all the toys, gets to eat from any futternapf  :chef: and collects all the blankets so Kira won't make them dirty! she then takes Kira's toys and rolls or pushes them all very far under the tv kasten or sofa where Kira, with her big fat shar pei nose, can't reach!!! her toys she stacks behind her own pillow...
Kira is not allowed to bellen at the Postler...verboten sagt die Missy. nur sie! :O
She even steals Kira's bones right from Kiras face, only to bury them in the rindermulch and make them dirty!
and the sofa...well...she pushed Kira right off (kira is 21 kilo!) when kira was  sleeping. of course, she knew that kira is not allowed on the sofa so she was just helping out  

Hoke is growing like a weed! he is also barking like a tyrant! he has found his voice and is totally in love with it! he barks and barks and barks until he falls asleep mid-bark. then he dreams and barks some more. i have a friend that said he will stop this in a week or two...oh boy i'm gonna need a hearing aid!

but he is also SWEET!!!!! he loves to give kisses and play and play and play and he also love to kuschel on the sofa. he follows us or Kira EVERYWHERE...and he has just started to learn to walk on the line! he's a natural at it actually since he loves to go for walks just next to my feet...or under them...He LOVES Kira! Kira lets him jump all over her and they play tug-o-war with some of their toys. I think Kira is also trying to teach him to get onto the sofa...not sure, but they were doing something sneaky this morning when i got up and came to the wohnzimmer. they acted like nothing was going on, of course.

tomorrow he gets his chip and next needles.

anyone have a tip on this crazy thing: Big Mama (Daisy) is still cleaning up after him...like...she eats his poop still.   :kotz:  
but while it's coming out! like a soft ice cream machine like the one they used to have at Oberlaa...i already tried Ananas...didn't work. just made flavoured poop. the doctor said it's ok but he will never learn to be sauber if she just follows him around and gets free food! plus it kinda makes me feel sick! so...any suggestions?

So nice to read about your little family. The pictures are WOW!!! These pretty little snowflakes!!! They look like angels, no meaning of eat some poop ore be a tyrannus ( saurus rex --- so I called my babies). Your Kira is a saint, give her some hugs and kisses!!!
Hope for Miss Daisy May and Hoke they get the very best families that is possible!!!

so sorry i haven't updated this.
it was crazy busy the last months.
first:
Hoke found his forever home. 
he is with a really wonderful family in the 20th district of Wien. he has 2 people brothers (ages 7 and 10) and a super people mama and people papa. he has a small garden and his very own schlafzimmer as well as a bad in his "brothers'" room.

he went to his family almost a month ago and we went to visit him 2 weeks ago to see how he was doing and to let his mama see how he is. he is s STINKER! spoiled spoiled spoiled rotten...not that we had anyting to to with that 
he is almost as big as his mama and looks like he might actually have a bit of jack russell somewhere in his DNA, but he is still sweet and loves to give kisses and play and roll around all over.
Daisy was also excited to see him and they played for a couple of hours before we decided we were exhausted and needed to go home.
we will be visiting the family more often and are happy to have new people friends.   :113:

Daisy is still with us. she is learning to be more self-confindent and trying really hard not to freak out and scream like crazy when we go to the park and see other dogs. :107: :107: she quitscht und quischt so loud when she sees other dogs and needs help to settle down, but once she calms down a bit she usually tries to play. she now has 2 neighbour doggy friends that go everyday with us to the park so she feels more mutig and doesn't need to quitsch so much.
she also goes with me to school on wednesday and is slowly letting the children touch her. they have to be real careful and not move too quickly and talk in soft voices and then they can touch her. they also can give her cookies, but she is not always able to take them yet because sometimes it's better just to hide in my schoss.
last Sunday, we were in the park with our UFO and Miss Daisy went down and up the hill so many times, i couldn't believe it. she is really such a good pup! she stays always just near my feet and feels safe with her Kira (my Shar Pei) nearby.
i have some videos that i will post and link here as soon as i can.
